Social citizenship through Learnerships

Unemployment remains one of the country’s greatest challenges, which is why at Impactful we’re compelled to work with the unemployed youth in local and rural communities, as well as people with disabilities, to assist them in developing useful skills that will make them much more attractive to potential employers.

These carefully crafted Learnerships ensure that the development needs of these young people are aligned with agency requirements. In this way, they are equipped with the skills necessary to become competent and productive employees, who can contribute meaningfully to their future and to future economic success.

The clear measure of these Learnerships’ success can be demonstrated by the fact that we have provided workplace experience and progress for thousands of young people, including the enablement of people with disabilities.

Moving promise forward with SETA Learnership Programmes

Students have access to a wide range of learnership programmes designed to offer training leading to the acquisition of National Certificates – from NQF Level 2 to NQF Level 6 – across a range of areas. These Learnership programmes are aligned to unit standards and are registered with the relevant Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs). Impactful has assisted in launching the careers of thousands of learners annually and upskilled thousands of young professionals within the ICT, Financial, BPO, Warehousing, Management, Business Management, Sales, Marketing, Project Management, Human Resources and Entrepreneurial sectors.

Learnership Programmes Overview

Impactful is accredited to deliver 23 learnership qualifications available to run over 12 months in a block release/modular format or full-time ( 3 months in-class training and 9 months within a working environment).

InfoTech Systems Support Azure

The purpose of this qualification is to develop learners with the requisite competencies against the skills profile for the systems support career path, the overarching aim being to develop a broader base of skilled ICT professionals to underpin economic growth.

Inside Selling

The focus of this training intervention is to provide the learner with a set of computer skills and behaviours that are necessary to get access to more customers via the phone and internet, improve their communication skills, understand customer needs, close more sales, and ultimately improve their sales effectiveness and productivity.

SMME Core Entrepreneurial Skills

This skills programme aims to address the unemployment rate in South Africa, while equipping driven individuals or SMMEs with the core skills to make a success of any new venture.

Digital Literacy Offering

This skills programme aims to help learners bridge the digital divide by providing them with foundational knowledge and skills in digital literacy.

Work Readiness Training Intervention

Provides learners with a set of interpersonal and computer literacy skills and the necessary behaviours needed to communicate effectively and act professionally in any work environment.

Business Analysis Support Practices

The focus of this training intervention is to provide the learner with a set of interpersonal and computer literacy skills, and behaviours that are necessary to communicate effectively and act professionally in any work environment.

The purpose of this qualification is to provide the learner with the skills, competence, knowledge and understanding to become an accounting technician.

Accounting Technician

Develop learners with the requisite competencies against the skills profile for the systems support career path.

Prepares learners for junior and entry-level accounting roles by giving them a solid foundation in finance administration.

Business Administration Services

This qualification is for any individual who is, or wishes to be, involved in the Administration function in any organisation or business in any sector, or field as well as in non-commercial organisations such as clubs and non-profit organisations.

Contact Centre Support

This programme equips learners with the underpinning knowledge and skills to be able to supply high-quality customer service.

Contact Centre and Business Process Outsourcing Support

The programme introduces the learner to the Call Centre environment and will equip them with the underpinning knowledge and skills to be able to supply high-quality customer service.

This programme introduces Contact Centre and/or Business Process Outsourcing operations. The qualification will equip learners with the underpinning knowledge and skills to be able to supply high-quality customer service.

This programme is intended for junior managers of small organisations, junior managers of business units in medium and large organisations, or those aspiring to these positions.
