Overview

Our client is seeking a Junior Consultant: Digital Services Support with excellent demonstrable skills showing the ability to support business development and technical engagements at channel partners, OEM and end user levels.

The job purpose of the Junior Solutions Consultant is to consult with strategic major account customers be technically astute to analyse and understand business and IT requirements, test and implementation solutions for approval of the customer.

Responsibilities

  • Produce documentation of high quality to be presented to the customer
  • Be customer-focused and can communicate with the customer at various levels
  • Ability to install and configure prototype solutions in various environments for customers
  • Understand and work within the context of a solid project / service management methodology for full lifecycle delivery into managed services
  • Elicit, Analyse/Model & validate customer requirements with the main stakeholders
  • Complete architecture design and configuration of proposed solution demonstrated hands-on
  • Management of on-going technical relationship with designated customers, and present new technology

Requirements

  • Educational Qualification: Grade 12/Matric Certificate (Achieved at least 50% in English)
  • National Diploma/ Degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Residency: Must be a South African citizen residing in Johannesburg
  • Age: Between 18-27years.
  • Valid Code 08 driver’s license
  • Own reliable transport

 

Knowledge of leading current technologies in one of the following areas is required and relevant certifications are preferred:

  • Document Management (DocuWare)
  • Connectivity (MCP, MCSE)
  • ITIL/COBIT
  • Programming knowledge in Microsoft .Net (C#, ASP.Net)
  • Knowledge with web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, MVC)
  • Knowledge with database concepts (SQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers, SSRS, SSIS) MySQL, SQL Server and Oracle
